The use of philosophical text in high school: is it possible to read Kant?

Is it possible to use classic philosophical texts in the current context of Brazilian public schools? If so, how can we make use of these texts? What are the possibilities and the limits for our pretensions, as philosophy teachers, regarding the use of the philosophical text? Important scholars of philosophy teaching in Brazil, such as Lidia Maria Rodrigo, Renata Aspis and Silvio Gallo, have defended that philosophical texts not only can and should be used in the classroom, but also that such texts should occupy a central role in the teaching of the subject. It is worth reflecting on this from the reality in which we are currently inserted, the intention of the text that follows and whose objective is to discuss the possibilities and limits of the use of the philosophical text in the light of my own experience in the internship in philosophy, which was carried out in a second year high school class in a public school in the city of Santa Maria, RS.
