A importância do brincar para a construção do conhecimento na educação infantil

A presente pesquisa, buscou verificar a importância do brincar para a construção do conhecimento das crianças que fazem parte da educação infantil. Em outras épocas, e durante muito tempo, o brinquedo foi visto como atitudes de lazer, que poderia ser nocivo à moral, e à formação de um adulto íntegro. A criança era vista como "miniadulto" ou "adulto em miniatura". Não havia o reconhecimento da imaginação, da criatividade e das curiosidades como elementos da infância. Hoje, o brincar é resgatado na escola como um instrumento facilitador do professor no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
