Children with disabilities and complex communication needs may need Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems to be able to learn in the school context and be actively included in society. Thus, the objective of this research was to analyze the educational program TELL ME: AAC in the Preschool Classroom, which is intended for preschool and has the support of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. It is noteworthy that in Brazil, currently, there is no teaching program or institutionalized didactic material with the support of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. A documental research was carried out, with a qualitative approach, of a descriptive nature. To analyze the data of the educational program, Content Analysis was used, based on the following categories: Conceptions of the Teaching Program, Material Structure and Didactic-Methodological Aspects. The results indicated that the teaching program has foundations for language development and to provide literacy experience for children who use or could benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication, however in preschool it is necessary to use other educational programs to promote the full development of the child in its maximum possibilities. Future projects may enable the production of a teaching program or teaching material to be used in the Brazilian context.
