Abstract

This research had as aim to analyze scientific productions from thesis and dissertations studies about ‘People with Deficiencies Parents’ Association (APAE). It is a quali-quantitative study of bibliometric methodological approach and content analysis. The methodological procedures were developed in three stages that include the phase of methodological and theory preparation, of collect and data registration, and of systematization and analysis of results. The results pointed out that majority of academic production were accomplished in master’s degree from 2008 to 2011 and by female researchers. It was localized 29 institutions of teaching among 75 studies, which concentrated in southwest and south area of Brazil. It was evidenced as well as that studies were directed forward knowledge field about Healthy and Education. Academic production analyzed shows different themes related to education, as well as objectives, types of studies and results that they came. Therefore, this research contribute to discuss about role of units of People with Deficiencies Parents’ Association in the offering of complementary support services or substitutive to education, searching quality and effectuation of rights.

Bacharel e Licenciado em Filosofia. Mestre em Educação pela Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados (UFGD). Atualmente, cursa doutorado em Educação Especial na Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). Membro do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Direito à Educação - Educação Especial (NEPEDE-EEs). Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação Especial e Política Educacional, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: formação de professores; educação especial; inclusão escolar; educação escolar indígena; produção do conhecimento; filosofia e sociologia da educação.

Maria Cristina Piumbato Innocentini Hayashi, Departamento de Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar)

Bacharel em Ciências Sociais pela Unesp/Araraquara (1979), mestre (1986) e doutora (1995) em Educação pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). Professora Associada do Departamento de Ciência da Informação, docente dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (PPGCTS); Educação (PPGE); e Educação Especial (PPGEEs), todos da UFSCar. Tem conduzido pesquisas sobre as dimensões quantitativa e qualitativa da produção científica em várias áreas de conhecimento, por meio da Bibliometria e da Cientometria.
