Relationship between the functional profile, motor function and manual ability of students with cerebral palsy

The inclusion has become a key element of educational policy. To cater for students with disabilities, global development disorders and high skills/giftedness, was established the Specialized Educational Attendance. In order to support the pedagogical resources and actions that allow the student to participate along with other Cerebral Palsy (CP) and demonstrate your potential is relevant to study the relationship between the functional profile, gross motor functions and manual skills of the student with CP. The objective of this study is to verify whether there is relationship between the functionality in the school environment and the level of impairment of motor function and manual skill in students with PC. The participants of this survey were six teachers from Specialized Educational Attendance, who provided information for assessing School Function Assessment (SFA), motor function classification system (GMFCS) thick and Manual Ability Classification System (MACS) of ten students with Cerebral Palsy. It was found to be a strong and positive correlation between several of the variables studied and strong and negative correlation among others of them. The findings reveal that there is relationship between the functionality in the school environment and the level of impairment of motor function and manual skill in students with Cerebral Palsy.
