Philosophy lessons and processes of subjectification through narratives: the role of the professor and the production of the documentary “The Man of a Thousand Voices”

This article seeks to elucidate and enhance the figure of the educator, endowed with the gifts of narrative in his philosophy classes. For this, the concepts of Erfahrung (formative experience) and Erlebnis (experience) elaborated by Walter Benjamin will be related, concepts that will serve as theoretical subsidy for the analysis of the documentary “The Man of a Thousand Voices”, produced and recorded during the lessons of philosophy taught by Professor Nicola Reinaldo Zíngare, in high school, of the State School Jácomo Stávale, located in the neighborhood of Freguesia do Ó, north of the capital of São Paulo. The research focuses mainly on the possibilities of the narrative to reach the status of Erfahrung, in the Benjaminian molds. Next, we will verify if the production of the documentary meets the formative process of the spectators, that is, if it can also be classified as an experience. Therefore, we intend to demonstrate the relevance of a teacher capable of provoking the formative experience in his students. Thus, we believe as graduates of the course of philosophy of PIBID \ Mackenzie \ Capes, that the processes of subjectivation open the way for the formation of students in this demotivating scenario of Brazilian education.Downloads
