This text is about presenting an interview with Milo Darci Aita, carried out by professor Janice Zarpellon Mazo in 1993. The Milo Aita testimony show his performance at the beginning of the Physical Education Center (CEF) of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), founded on December 11, 1969, and; later, in the Department of Physical Education and Sports (DEFD), of the then Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC). In addition, it brings evidence of different social practices that were adopted and shared among the CEF pioneers, in order to engineer the curricula of the Physical Education Degree course, started in 1970. It reports the adversities in relation to human resources, physical facilities , among others faced at the time. The testimony, full of nostalgia, reveals the meaning of CEF/UFSM to the trajectory of Milo Aita, who only retired from the institution when he was 70 years old.Downloads
