The current study analyzed the effectiveness of a set of three educational workshops on the Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) offered for parents and caregivers, educational professionals and healthcare professionals, each workshop involved 16, 34 and 25 participants, respectively. The workshops were planned through a Teaching Program, and the participants’ level of knowledge about autism was verified with pre and post-test measures before and after explanatory talks and clarification of doubts about its diagnosis and its behavioral management. The results of the workshops showed an increase in the number of answers to questions related to ASD, identification signs, specific knowledge of each target audience and issues related to the treatment of the disorder. The increase in percentage of correct answers was 11% for educational professionals, 10.8 % for parents and caregivers, and 5.4% for healthcare professionals. The data suggest the expansion of the repertoire of information about autism for participants in three workshop offered.
