The ontological dimension of pedagogical work as an immaterial and unproductive activity

This article aims to discuss the ontological dimensions of pedagogical work as an immaterial and unproductive activity, considering the constitutive elements of the mode of production used to establish new forms of involvement and capture of human subjectivity, subject to the logic of capital. It constitutes an excerpt from the bibliographical review resulting from a research developed at the doctoral level, based on dialectical historical materialism, which is based on the imperative of the mode of social production of existence. In this excerpt, it supports its methodological path in bibliographical research, through the conceptual deepening of analytical categories, in which it elects work as the central category of analysis, to subsidize the investigation on pedagogical work in the contemporary context of productive restructuring, based on Marxian and Marxist contributions. The result of the analysis indicates that the pedagogical work suffers a reification of capital in a less dehumanized way when compared to other types of immaterial work, being able to contribute to its logic of production and societal reproduction. Indeed, it is concluded that, given its uniqueness and ontological meaning, it does not lose the purpose of producing human emancipation, and must highlight the mechanisms of ideological domination of bourgeois society.
