Abstract

Especially regarding public schools, there is a noticeable lack of laboratories or facilities that enable the contextualized teaching of topics in the areas of exact and natural sciences. As a result, there is greater difficulty in students' learning, especially in more abstract content. Since there is already a proven direct relationship between practical and experimental activities and the quality of education. Furthermore, practical activities can provide a rich opportunity to understand more complex problems and enhance various skills such as communication, problem-solving, and socialization. In this context, this work proposes the development of a simple and inexpensive device for conducting physics experiments, especially in the area of magnetism, the Gauss Cannon. This tool allows the visualization of mechanical and magnetic forces.
