Abstract

This text is the result of meetings for study and research at the Center for the Study of Higher Education - CEES and various research groups in the productions of the authors and intends to make a discussion about Higher Education, University, Society and Democratization of the practices social. Understanding that is required to watch the process of internationalization of the field of education and especially in this text, the field of Pedagogy University. The paper contextualizes the issue in the crisis of modernity, signaling implications for the ethical-political commitment of the university and pedagogical training of teachers and points to socioeconomic political and cultural determinants.
