Abstract

As English teachers of different teaching realities and researchers of the sociodiscursive interactionism perspective, we produced a didactic collection to Ensino Fundamental II. Therefore, for each school year we developed seven didactic sequences using a range of text genres, aiming at giving students the chance to broaden the possibility of social participation through the study of authentic texts and the development of practical activities. In this article, we are going to revisit the theoretical bases of our pedagogical proposal in order to make clear the paths taken and present our planning proposal for English teaching.
