La autoeficacia parental y Autismo: una revisión integradora

La interacción entre padres e hijos actúa con una función fundamental en el desarrollo infantil y necesita ocurrir en ambientes qué estimulen el desarrollo del niño así como de la familia. Teniendo en cuenta que esta interacción es recíproca y bidireccional, se vuelve esencial considerar las particularidades del niño y las características individuales de los padres. Niños con diagnostico de Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) enfrentan desafíos de comportamiento y de interacción social, que pueden impactar a la dinámica entre ellas y sus padres. En este contexto, la autoeficacia parental surge como un elemento muy importante y representa la creencia y confianza que los padres tienen en su propia capacidad para de crear, cuidar y educar a sus hijos. El objetivo de este estudio es identificar en la literatura las relaciones de la autoeficacia parental en el desarrollo de niños con TEA. Se trata de una revisión integradora, realizada en las fuentes de información Pubmed/Medline, Embase, Cinahl, PsycINFO, Scopus, Web of Science, Eric y Lilacs. A partir del acrónimo PCC (Persona, Concepto y Contexto), se estipuló la pregunta orientadora y los descriptores en portugués, inglés y español. Las producciones fueron seleccionadas considerando criterios de elegibilidad y por parejas doble-ciegos siguiendo el CheckList Prisma. Datos de 12 estudios fueron analisados y sintetizados en categorías, de modo a promover uma visión abrangente de la temática. Se volvió evidente la relevancia de la autoeficacia parental en la interacción entre padres e hijos con TEA. Se destaca la importancia de reconocer las peculiaridades de los hijos con TEA y de los padres, promoviendo un ambiente saludable y estimulante para el desarrollo del niño.
