The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized by impairments in social communication and restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviors, interests, or activities. In Brazil, Psychomotricity emerges as an intervention approach for children with ASD, as it can contribute to motor, cognitive, emotional, and social adaptation. The objective of the present study was to review and synthesize the scientific literature on psychomotor interventions applied to Brazilian children with ASD (ages 2 to 12). To this end, an electronic search was conducted in the LILACS, Scielo, and Google Scholar databases. A total of seven (7) studies were eligible for evidence synthesis. The studies were published between 2015 and 2022 and varied in terms of sample size, intervention characteristics, and outcome measures (focused on motor variables). Overall, the analysis of the scientific literature suggests that psychomotor interventions benefit the motor and psychosocial development of children with ASD, although their effectiveness, duration, context, and approach may vary. As a recommendation, future research should investigate the long-term effects of these interventions in larger samples, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing motor, cognitive, and socioemotional development in Brazilian children with ASD.
