Pedagogical innovation and concept production: a dialogue between Carlos Fino and Silvio Gallo

Abstract

This article proposes an articulation between two contemporary educational approaches: pedagogical innovation, as discussed by Carlos Fino, and the concept production perspective, inspired by the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and developed by Silvio Gallo. In response to the challenges faced by traditional schooling, both authors advocate for educational practices that value student autonomy, creativity, and active knowledge construction. Fino sees innovation as a transformation in the relationships between teachers, students, and knowledge, while Gallo suggests an education centered on the creation of concepts, breaking away from methods based solely on repetition and memorization. The article aims to show that true educational innovation lies not in tools, but in rethinking the meaning of learning, placing the student as the protagonist of their own formative process.
