Professional identity in analysis: a sistematic review of the literature

This study is a systematic review of the literature. The aim is to map the research in Portuguese language from 2003 to 2013, in the field of identity and professional identity. The research was conducted in journals categorized in Qualis in the education field of a total of 30 journals, using the terms “identity” and “Professional Identity”. The results showed that the studies had an increase, especially after 2007 and in the context of teaching, using predominantly qualitative methodologies. The identity emerges as a construct with dynamic nature which mostly result of personal, educational and professional experiences.Downloads
