Abstract

This article is based on the reading of the text Lettres d'Émile Benveniste à Claude Lévi-Strauss (1948-1967), written by John E. Joseph, Chloé Laplantine, and Georges-Jean Pinault, published in 2020, in which the authors present and edit 20 letters from Émile Benveniste addressed to Claude Lévi-Strauss between the end of the 1940s and the end of the 1960s. We propose, here, a reflection on the approach of the authors and the construction of Benveniste's linguistic thought, in which connections are revealed with ethnology. We consider that the anthropological portion anchored in Benveniste's thought allowed current readings that propose an enunciative anthropology.

Isabela Barbosa do Rêgo Barros, Catholic University of Pernambuco

Possui doutorado em LETRAS pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2011), mestrado em CIÊNCIAS DA LINGUAGEM pela Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (2006), especialização em PSICOMOTRICIDADE pela Universidade Cândido Mendes (2001) , graduação em FONOAUDIOLOGIA pela Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (1998) e graduação em LETRAS pela UNINTER (2022). Atualmente é professora da Universidade Católica de Pernambuco dos cursos de Letras presencial e EAD, e do curso de Fonoaudiologia. É pesquisadora de três grupos de pesquisa cadastrados no CNPq: 1) Linguagem, Distúrbio e Multidisciplinaridade, vinculado ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências da Linguagem da UNICAP; 2) Laboratório de Estudos da Linguagem e Psicanálise - LANGUE, vinculado a UFRPE; 3) Núcleo de Estudos Enunciativos e Aplicados da Linguagem - NEAL, também vinculado a UFRPE. Desenvolve pesquisas fundamentadas no estruturalismo saussureano e na teoria enunciativa, procurando relacioná-las com o processo de aquisição e desenvolvimento de linguagem oral e escrita, incluindo os distúrbios de linguagem. As discussões sobre o sentido na linguagem também constituem tema de interesse, voltando-se, assim, para o campo da semântica linguística. Destaque para as pesquisas com ênfase nos temas: síndromes, transtornos psiquiátricos (incluindo o autismo) e déficit cognitivo. Tem experiência como professora conteudista em EAD na elaboração de material didático.
