Relief analysis is of great importance for human use and occupation due to its ability to identify surface processes that occur in space, associated with the advancement of GIS technologies, geomorphological research has become of great relevance, making it possible to determine calculations of various aspects of the relief through digital elevation models. In this sense, this research aims to analyze and identify the relief elements in the municipality of Toropi, RS in an automated way from geomorphometric techniques. For the analysis of the municipality, maps of hypsometry, slope and landforms were initially carried out in the Arcgis software, later generated using the r.geomorphons tool, which classifies an area into 10 relief elements, later a map of the shapes of the slopes was generated . The municipality of Toropi has as its main relief form the Strongly Wavy Hills characteristic of the region of transition from the central depression to the Riograndense plateau. In relation to the relief elements, Toropi presents the predominance of 3 elements, namely the slope, valley and crest, making up 60% of the total area. The slope forms that stand out in the municipality are the concave-divergent slopes. The relief exerts a strong influence on the use and occupation of the soil and, therefore, studies of compartmentalization of the relief, it has the potential to be used in survey and planning work, given the diversity.
