The pathogen Pestalotia dichaeta Speg. Were isolated in the Laboratory of Phytopathology of the UFSM, derived from diseased plants of Eucalyptus dunnll Malden., E. viminalls Labill. end E. nitens Malden., collected in Conoinhas, Santa Catarina, Brasil. The confirmation of the agent was made by the inoculation of E. viminalls seedlings, with 60 cm of height, with a solution of spores of this pathogen, previosly isolated. After some weeks, the material with caracteristic sympton of the disease were analised through re- isolation, confirming the identification. It was also oserved that this fungi is no much aggressive, because theattacked plants showed rapid recuperation after a few months.Downloads
