In contemporaneity, photography and images present a wide space of possibilities for working around artistic education. Everyday we face a succession of resources and technological devices that we can use as tools, implicitly containing triggers that allow us to raise discussions and reflections regarding their use as educational strategies, forcing us to rethink even the scope of the images and their relationship with the individuals. In this text, we propose some approaches that allow us to think about the relevance of images – particularly photographs – in the construction of personal and collective imaginaries. It is proposed to reflect on the way in which the conceptions that, in relation to the photographic image, were handled since the second half of the 20th century have been reformulated and the way in which photography – since its invention – has undergone various technological changes, which have impacted and reoriented their use and impact on daily and professional use.Downloads
