The proposal of this work is presenting the stimuli that impact the college nightly students motivation in to go to the school, considering the aspects around the educational concern: collective transportation, traffic and public safety, as well as the infrastructure aspects of the school and social relationships. In 2002, the number of college nightly enrolments was 2,003,755, representing 57.6% of Brazil total (3,479,913 enrolments). Research made with 244 Business Administration nightly course students, from a private school in São Paulo, it was possible to conclude that the most relevant aspect in motivating the student was the teacher-student relationships (83% of answers); on the other side, the item with the lowest percentage of motivation was safety conditions in collective transportation (7%). Results indicate that the teacher has responsibilities that transcend the efficient use of pedagogical concepts and learning techniques. The teacher should be conscious about the importance of teacher-student relationship realized by the students. The nightly student generally after having a hard journey goes to the school looking for knowledge, professional development and college certificate. All the te achers must be in mind the Henry Adams ́ sentence: “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”.
