Abstract

The aim of this article is to examine the expansion of the concept of “escolanovismo” (new school) in Brazil. It is analysed the way the printing worked as a tool in pedagogy area in school practices. Avoiding the most common research practices about “escolanovismo” (nwe school). This work is in the area of material history, and it studies the way the printigs circulated and their uses.
