Apresentação

É doutor em Estudos Literários pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Atualmente é professor-adjunto no Departamento de Letras Vernáculas da UFSM. Tem experiência na área de Literatura Comparada, com ênfase nas relações entre as literaturas Luso-brasileira e Inglesa dos séculos XVI e XVII.

Leni Ribeiro Leite was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds a BA and Teacher Certification in Portuguese Language and Literature and in Latin Language and Literature from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ); she also has an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Classics, both from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. She has been researching and publishing within the field of Classics, with an interest in poetry of the Flavian Era; the relations within Poetics and Rhetorics; and in Classical receptions. She was Assistant and Associate Professor of Latin Language and Literature in the Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil between 2009 and 2021. She is currently Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Kentucky.
