Abstract

This article presents aspects of drawing development and writing of two children with Down syndrome, who attend the Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional Children. Back also important considerations for the research project on teaching drawing to children with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, we will address questions about the genesis of drawing and writing as well as reflections on the design of education for children with disabilities and inclusion. Authors such as Duarte and Wallon and Lurçat, subsidize regarding the design and disability. Pillar, Blacksmith and Boneti assist us in understanding the development of writing. The work consisted of teaching children with intellectual disabilities to draw graphic schemes. During the accomplishment of this task, I noticed that two children with Down Syndrome, both with nine, interspersed drawing and writing.
