Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyze the representation of women in the stories Natal na barca, by Lygia Fagundes Telles and A imitação da rosa, by Clarice Lispector. The research seeks to show that the attitudes of female figures are circumscribed within the limits imposed by the patriarchal tradition.
