Schopenhauer as educator: 150 years since Nietzsche's Third Untimely

The aim is to offer some reflections on the concepts of culture, formation and education in Schopenhauer, taking as an opportunity the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Friedrich Nietzsche's third Untimely Consideration, entitled “Schopenhauer as Educator” (1874). At this point, we do not intend to take into consideration Nietzsche's philosophy and the place that the aforementioned text plays in his youthful or mature philosophy. The aim is to consider the contributions that Schopenhauer's philosophy offers to the theme addressed in Nietzsche's text.
