The notion of behavior is important in Wittgenstein, mainly related to the argumentation of private language and following rules. Behaviorism proposes, precisely, behavior, which is developed later, as an object of study in a kind of psychological science revolution so that it could gain the status of science. Starting from different notions of behavior in Wittgenstein, in methodological behaviorism and in behaviorism, the present essay has four objectives: 1) to present a notion of behavior in Wittgenstein; 2) to present the notion of behavior to methodological behaviorism; 3) present the notion of behavior for behaviorism; 4) whether or not the notion of behavioral behavior is subject to Wittgenstein's criticism. To do so, initially, we will briefly present what became known as the Private Language Argument in FI and then we will present the conceptions of behavior.
