Abstract

This article aims to show the body to support the artistic events and understand the fascination that different people have about the ancient practice of bodily changes such as scarification, piercing and suspension, making the link with the contemporaneity and primitivism. Then I want to make certain assumptions about the whys that plague these practices and open space for dialogue on this very widespread but little discussed subject.
