This article presents the proposal for a Pedagogical Model, based on the RecOAComp learning object recommender. The aim of the system is to indicate learning objects, based on the skills that the student needs to develop. The methodology was based on the qualitative approach, and presents two case studies, developed in three stages: construction of an initial Pedagogical Model and application, analysis of the results to infer changes in it, and finally, construction and application of a new model. In this sense, it was possible to propose a Pedagogical Architecture and strategies for the application of an Educational Recommendation System in an undergraduate discipline. The conclusions about the application of the model point to improvements in the teaching and learning process, through the personalization of the environment based on the indication of digital educational materials, according to the profile of the students. In addition, the organization and planning of the discipline contributed to the autonomy of the students, who felt confident about the materials available and resources of the AVA. Finally, the article reflects on the theme and collaborates with the application of these systems in education, in view of its use as a tool for pedagogical recommendation.
