Countryside professional education: technical formation

This article has the objective of accomplishing a reflection concerning the formation of technicians in farming, starting from the Professional Education Reform unchained by the Guidelines and Bases of the National Education Act - Brazilian Federal Law n.9394 / 1996, and Federal Decree n.2.208 / 1997. Therefore, it presents a historical retrospective of the process of constitution of the rural professional education and a similar retrospective about the agricultural technician’s emergency. It discusses the professional education for the country workmen linked to the interests and hegemonic needs of the capitalism for the agriculture economical development.
