Teacher training: reflections unfinished

It was intended in this article to tell reflections carried through regarding the formation of the teacher of Visual Arts in Brazil and Germany. It was objectified to investigate the teaching formation of Visual Arts in the UFSM, as well as the educational politics that involve this passage. In what it refers to the methodological questions the work was it based for the qualitative character of inquiry. The construction of the research instruments (questionnaire) was structuralized from the categories, public formation of professors and politics, previously endorsed for the documentary analysis. In this research, the involved citizens had been a teacher and a learning of the course of Visual Arts of the UFSM and in the scope of Germany was possible only in documentary level. As previous conclusion it was observed teaching and also learning concern, in forming a conscientious teacher to act in the contemporany, as well as the necessity of this in knowing the legislation that education in the country conducts, and the possibilities of management and administration of a school. How much to the courses of graduation that each institution or country presents, these possess its particularities in the teaching formation, being that in Brazil the public politics are detached as disciplines curricular, being treat to joint form with the pedagogical formation, differently of Germany, where the pedagogical formation is treated separately and the resume is constructed by the proper pupil who in the end of the quick course a state examination.
