In this text, we describe an extensionist practice of creation and operation of the Program of Assessment of Physical Conditioning and Training Oriented to Competition (P.A.C.T.O.), at the Federal University of Pampa, which aims to promote the practice of sports and encourage the performance of safe exercises. Programs, engagement estimation subprojects, athlete tracking and events, scientific cycling clinics and scientific street racing workshops. In the early years, the P.A.C.T.O. proved to be a very relevant program for the promotion of university extension, fostering interdisciplinarity, action in the community and exchange of knowledge between the environment and the exchange of relevant knowledge, and society.
