Supervised internship in geography in the form of pedagogical workshops: reinventing practices in times of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

The article discusses the contributions of pedagogical workshops in the reinvention of teaching practices in times of the Covid-19 pandemic, during the Supervised Internship in Geography. The text is the result of an undergraduate teaching experience with the curricular component Supervised Internship in Geography II, carried out in the degree course in Geography at the Universidade do Estado da Bahia, Campus de Jacobina. The work sought to answer the following problem: how can pedagogical workshops provide the reinvention of new teaching practices in times of pandemic, during the Supervised Internship in Geography? The methodological basis was of a qualitative approach, having as a procedure bibliographic research and action research in a group of undergraduate students of the sixth semester at the beginning of the year 2021. The data obtained in the research reveal that the pedagogical workshops are important didactic tools and benefit in a way teacher training, as well as the teaching and learning process, both in person and remotely and online. The workshops are composed of recreational activities and provide greater interactionism between those involved, ensuring more dynamic and successful pedagogical practices in geography.

Ivaneide Silva dos Santos, Bahia State University

PhD in Geography from the State University of Campinas-UNICAMP, area of ​​concentration: Environmental Analysis and Territorial Dynamics. Master in Culture, Memory and Regional Development from UNEB (2009). Specialist in Geography Methodology and Teaching from UNEB (2005). Degree in Geography from the State University of Bahia - UNEB (2004). He is a member of the research groups: Atelier for Research and Practice in Geography Teaching (APEGEO-UNICAMP) and Center for Geographic Studies (NEG-UNEB). Assistant Professor at the State University of Bahia - UNEB, based in the Department of Human Sciences, Campus IV, Jacobina-BA. Professor at the State Department of Education of Bahia, working at the Colégio Estadual de Serrolândia - NTE 16. She has experience in the area of ​​Geography, with an emphasis on Teaching and Learning, working mainly on the following topics: Teaching Geography, Supervised Internship and Teaching Practice, Environmental Education and Sustainable Local Development.

Carlos Lima Ferreira, Universidade do Estado da Bahia

Master in Education and Diversity from the State University of Bahia - UNEB - Campus IV. Graduated in LICENSE IN GEOGRAPHY from the State University of Feira de Santana (1997). He is currently a professor and coordinator of the Human Sciences area (Amélia Rodrigues City Hall - Bahia) and a professor at the State University of Bahia - Campus IV/Jacobiina, where he participates in Educational Programs such as: PARFOR, PROESP AND EAD/UAB. He has experience in the area of ​​Geography, with an emphasis on Regionalization of World Space, Regionalization of Brazilian Space, Regionalization of Bahia, Founding Events of the Brazilian Nation-State, Geography of Production and Circulation, Geography Teaching Methodology, Geography Teaching Practice and Supervised Internship in Geography.
