Abstract

Experience report on the planning and execution of an action for Intervention in Men’s Health in a city of Sergipe, promoted by the articulation of the Federal University of Sergipe and the local Municipal Health Department. The action aimed to identify the health needs of the male population of the mentioned territory, as well as to promote the link with the health team. The Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats Matrix was used as a planning tool, highlighting as positive points an active interprofessional team and linkage with a family member assisted at the Basic Health Unit, and as negative points, the low adherence to the services offered by the unit and the lack of knowledge of the health profile of men in this territory. With the intervention, an effective participation of the population was observed, contributing to the strengthening and implementation of the National Policy of Integral Attention to Men’s Health in the unit and highlighting the need for other actions in the territory.

Luciene dos Santos Oliveira, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Graduated in Physiotherapy, from the Federal University of Sergipe (2022). Participated as a volunteer in the Institutional Volunteer Scientific Initiation Program (PICVOL - UFS) at the Neuroscience Research Laboratory (LAPENE). She worked as a volunteer monitor of the Physiotherapy discipline in Neurology, as well as in Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy (Department of Physiotherapy - UFS). Participated in the Academic Physiotherapy Center (UFS), in the General Coordination (2020-2021).

Fellipe Matheus Brandão dos Santos, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Graduated in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of Sergipe (2022). He has experience in the area of Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.

Itanara Barboza dos Santos, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Physiotherapist graduated from the Federal University of Sergipe (2021.2). Member of the Neuroscience Research Laboratory since scientific initiation (2018) until now as a collaborator in the development of scientific work in the areas of chronic pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, application of technology to physiotherapy and electrical stimulation. Training in caring for people with disabilities and the Pilates method (ongoing)

Camilla Feitosa Mendes, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Physiotherapist graduated from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Scientific initiation student (IC) at the Neuroscience Research Laboratory (LAPENE) from 2018 to 2021, under the guidance of professor Dr. Josimari Melo de Santana, during which time she studied the effect of kinesiotherapy and electrotherapy on different types of pain. Postgraduate student in Pelvic Physiotherapy in Women's and Men's Health (IES).

Mariane da Rocha Marques, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Master in Nursing (UFS): Public Policies and SUS Management; Acted as Institutional Support (Paideia) and Technical Responsible (RT) of the Men's Health Policy in São Cristóvão/Sergipe; She currently works as Primary Care Coordinator in the municipality of Barra dos Coqueiros. Preceptor in the Technical Training Course for Community Health Agents - Health with Agent, at CONASSEMS Preceptor at Tiradentes University - collective health Experience in building lines of care, care protocols, action plans, SOP'S, Norms and Routines, Data Collection Instruments Data, planning. Development of projects with teaching-research-extension integration to implement the National Policy for Comprehensive Attention to Men's Health and improve the PNAB and SUS in the municipality of São Cristóvão.

Ana Silvia Moccellin, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

She is currently Associate Professor I, exclusive dedication, of the Physiotherapy Course at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Graduated in Physiotherapy from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo - FMRP/USP (2002-2006), specialization in Family and Community Health, Residency modality (2007-2009), Master's degree (2009-2011) and Doctorate (2011-2014) from the Federal University of São Carlos. She has experience in the area of Public Health with an emphasis on Family and Community Health, Primary Health Care and Occupational Health.
