The text reflects on the teaching and laboratory practice of magazine journalism from a context of crisis in the publishing market and migration to digital platforms. The argument is based on a hermeneutics that triangulates teaching experiences, pedagogical and editorial practices and the teacher-reader performance with student-magazine interaction. The text suggests the potential of the magazine as a pedagogical device for teaching and practicing journalism with a focus on four dimensions: the magazine as memory, as a product, as a text and as materiality.Downloads
