Abstract

Our work will focus on the analysis of how the articulations between the symbolic and the real occur in times of exceptional regimes, by proposing a reading of the short story “Alguma coisa urgentemente”, by João Gilberto Noll. We will analyze the forms of perception of the narrative about a state of latent events and how these symbolic constructions of the world corresponded with the forms of life. We will take as a point of support a critique with a schizoanalytical foundation (this structural dynamic of reading is a critique and an unfolding of Lacanian psychoanalysis). Therefore, we will try to unravel the symbolic forms and their transfigurations with the real under the literary prism. We will follow some reading principles in line with the theoretical foundations of Adorno (1998) and G. Deleuze and F. Guattari (2011a; 2011b), as well as analytical principles in Franco (2003) about Brazilian literary production during the military dictatorship.
