This article aims to compare the philosophies of law and the State developed by Arthur Schopenhauer and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, highlighting their differences and potential points of convergence. Additionally, it examines the relevance of these theories in addressing a pressing contemporary political issue: the rise of authoritarian tendencies.
