The paper presents and discusses the description and analysis that Thucydides gave of the plague that broke out in Athens at the beginning of the Peloponnesian war. The aim is to seek lessons for the time of the Covid-19 pandemic from the historian’s examination of the moral and social impacts of crises.Downloads
