The present paper argues for a multispecies-focused understanding of biopolitics. Considering the global emergency brought about by the COVID-19 pandemics, which can be situated within the larger picture of the ecological mutations of the Anthropocene, it seeks to propose an expanded perspective focused not only on the experiences and dinamics of biopolitics over the human body – be it the individualized body, be it the social, collective, body – but also on the effects of such operations over forms of life other-than-human, shifting the analytical status of such terms as environment and nature from mere resources, ultimately managed to affect and direct human conduct, to being living entities.Downloads
