This article aims to examinate the category of the unseen proposed by the phenomenological aesthetics of Jean-Luc Marion and its potential to think about the task of justice understood in terms of “making the unseen visible”. The “blind look” of the artist, who is able to see the unseen, is the model for the “blind look” of the judge who intends to do justice.
