Abstract

This article reflects about some elements we consider relevant to approach the study and practice of visual arts education from the perspective of visual culture. We try to explore these issues by working from our academic experience in Montevideo, where we have been developing research and learning projects in this area since one decade ago. Also, we position ourselves in a perspective which emphasizes the relational practices instantiations, the relevance of aesthetic experience and look at the educators as postproducers.
