<b> A avaliação do ensino superior <b/>
Abstract
Na análise da avaliação do ensino superior, faz-se preliminarmente um breve excurso histórico sobre os programas avaliativos do Estado. Em seguida, analisa-se o Programa de Avaliação Institucional das Universidades Brasileira (PAIUB), um projeto de avaliação construído pela comunidade universitária. Faz-se, ainda, uma análise crítica da política de implantação do Exame Nacional de Cursos, mostrando suas limitações tanto para o objetivo de aprimoramento dos cursos como para o propósito de prestar contas à sociedade.
