<b>A formação universitária do professor de música e as políticas educacionais nas reformas curriculares </b>

Abstract

Este artigo analisa as políticas educacionais e as orientações curriculares do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Artística Habilitação em Música. Levantam-se questionamentos acerca da formação dos futuros professores de música apresentando os principais objetivos das reformas educacionais, através de questões relativas à Lei 5.692/71 e à Lei 9.394/96. São algumas reflexões que têm permeado os profissionais da área em um momento de debates políticos educacionais provocados pelas reformas curriculares. Abordam-se temas como a organização do saber, a hierarquia dos conhecimentos, a formação acadêmica e a realidade, a distância entre o conhecimento musical e pedagógico na formação docente, os conhecimentos necessários à formação do educador musical, entre outros. Palavras-chave: professor de música, políticas educacionais, reformas curriculares.
