Abstract

This article is based on experiences lived during the specialization Teaching course on Higher education of Unipan/Faciap, in Cascavel city, Paraná state. There were discussions and interviews with students who are professionals in different areas and also work as teachers at universities without having pedagogical graduation. It aimed to discuss the evaluation methods by mentioning the possible subjective elements that it contains and their positive and negative consequences in the subjects formation. It is noticed that although the evaluation is an essential component in the teaching, learning and curriculum process, few teachers are prepared to do this task. It requires recognition, acceptance and observation of the complex process of subjectivities production that gives sense to the existence of individuals who are influenced by social, economical, political and cultural aspects. It is in this context that this article intends to be inserted and it aims to contribute with the discussion on this theme.
