Social fight and juridical acknowledgement of the human right of young and adults to education

The article reviews the main periods in the history of youth and adult education in Brazil in the last fifty years and concludes that the social movements contributed decisively to the acknowledgement of the right of this population to education in the national juridical means. The article analyses public policies in the recent period and proposes items to update the agenda of fights for the human right to education during youth and in adult life.Downloads
