This text presents a study of the subject and the expression of their subjectivity in contemporary society, investigating how the dialogue between the inner self and the social self manifests itself in interpersonal relationships. It recognizes that subjectivities permeate the subject and influence the quality of affective encounters in teaching. The objective is to foster sensitive listening to teachers' subjectivities, proposing reflections that favor access to their narratives and the constitutive dimensions of teaching identity. The study utilized bibliographical research and empirical investigation, including observation of school routines and dialogued interviews with ten teachers from the Francisco Beltrão/PR Municipal School System. A case study was adopted, with cartography of affections to map the intensities and meanings of teaching experiences, and discursive textual analysis (DTA) in its stages of unitarization, categorization, and communication. This journey allowed us to identify the singularities and subjectivities of the teachers, highlighting how social relationships in the school environment influence and enhance their personal and professional actions, considering freedom of expression, desires and potentialities of life.
