Based on changes by the Ministry of Education, which increase the burden of mandatory extension on students, new ways are sought to provide students with this educational experience with an impact on society. This article reports the experience of a professor from a federal public institution in Rio de Janeiro, who brought a group of women entrepreneurs into the classroom who needed help with the marketing planning of their companies. Using the Project Based Learning – PBL –, methodology, the administration course students carried out projects worthy of professional consultancy, but free of charge, and had an experience that resembles the reality of an administrator. Finally, this experience was awarded 3rd place regionally in Sebrae's Transforming Educator 2024 award.
