Abstract

This article analyses the way some of Machiavelli’s letters are organized in four different languages: English, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Taking in consideration different time periods within the second half of the twentieth century; goal was verifying wich Machiavelli comes from such epistolary: the political author or the literary one. This work has special focus on paratexts.
