PRESENÇA DA FILOSOFIA NA EDUCAÇÃO FlSICA

A filosofia surgiu como a primeira proposta com a pretensão, talvez, de ser também a única de produção do saber verdadeiro, portanto, o unico saber verdadeiro. Os gregos chamaram a este novo e original saber de epistheme, traduzido, em geral por ciência ou conhecimento. Os filósofos tornaram-se, assim, os homens do saber e da verdade, ou do saber verdadeiro. A imagem do filósofo, como o homem da ciência, e a idéia da filosofia, como ciência da verdade, fixaram-se em nossa tradição cultural. A história encarregou-se de preservá-la durante um período de quase dois milênios, ou seja, de Tales de Mileto até o surgimento de Galileu Galilei.
