Abstract

The experience report describes the experience carried out in the indigenous community Raposa I, located in the indigenous land Raposa Serra do Sol (TIRSS), in Normandy/Roraima. The technical visit was carried out in partnership between the Federal Institute of Roraima and the community and aimed to provide the students of the Technology Course in Tourism Management and Graduate Studies at IFRR/Campus Boa Vista with the experience. The report shares the experience lived in the mentioned community, during a technical visit trip to a pilot project of ethnotourism according to the visitation plan according to normative instruction of FUNAI, which regularizes ethnotourism in indigenous lands. To describe the report, the author carried out direct observation, description of reports in the logbook, in addition to recording photos and images of the experience at the Panela de Barro event, in November 2019 in the community. In addition, in January 2023, the plan received a letter of consent from FUNAI, making it the first indigenous community in Roraima to have ethnotourism.
